be the treatment of choice pre or post-operatively for the Total Hip or
Knee patient if (a) the patient has a weight-bearing restriction; (b) the
patient is unable to support his weight; (c) the patient is in pain, (d) if
the therapist cannot adequately access the patient’s body on land, (e)
the patient has LE swelling.

contraindications specific to the TJR population.

care) have to say about aquatic therapy for the total joint replacement
patient.

of the payer and be able to proactively prevent them — or retroactively
